Throughout the week, our team here at ACC looks through emails and news articles searching for someone we think deserves to be our Kidde Hero of the Week!

This week’s Hero comes from David Calloway, Jr. out of North Carolina… He writes:

I would like to nominate my brother Robbie of Bakersville, North Carolina. He witnessed a tractor trailer crash, and the man had a severe injury to his arm and my brother saved his life by wrapping a tourniquet around that injury. He stayed with the man until the paramedics arrived to take over! My brother is my hero.

Signed,
David

Kix’s Response:

Wow, you just never know when you might be challenged like this with some horrific event, and I know I’ve certainly been inspired through my life by the way people around me have stepped up and taken control of some really tough situations. Good job, Robbie!
