Kix TV: Tucker Beathard

Sports and music run deep in the Beathard family bloodline. So, for country newcomer Tucker Beathard deciding which path to follow was one of the toughest decisions of his life. He turned his back on a baseball scholarship and went all-in to pursue a career in music. And, so far, it’s going pretty well for the singer-songwriter.

Tucker’s debut single “Rock On” peaked at number two on the ACC chart here and earned him plenty of buzz in Music City. And, after completing his own successful run of shows on last year’s Rock On College Tour, Tucker is set to join Brantley Gilbert’s Devil Don’t Sleep Tour, kicking off February 2nd.

Prior to releasing his Fight Like Hell EP back in the fall, Tucker stopped by for his very first visit to the ACC Studio. Tucker opened up to Kix about his somewhat rebellious youth and his songwriting roots. Plus, he talked about his latest single “Momma and Jesus.”
