Back in 2012, Keith Urban wrote a song specifically for a movie titled Act of Valor. The movie was about the Navy Seals, who work over in the Middle East, and also starred actual Navy Seals. This would be the first time that Keith wrote a song for a film.
After he watched the movie, he knew what he wanted to write. He was under the gun, having only a week to turn the song in, so he contacted his buddy songwriter Monty Powell to help get it finished up.
Although it was never featured on one of Keith’s albums, it was on the soundtrack to Act of Valor and became a Top 10 back in 2012. He would donate all the proceeds from the song to the Navy Seals Foundation, which helps support their community and its families.
