The Song Remembers When: Florida Georgia Line – “Anything Goes”

We take you behind the scenes and explore the making of one of our favorite tunes with The Song Remembers When…

In 2014, Florida Georgia Line released their sophomore album Anything Goes. The album reached number one on the Country and the Top 200 Albums chart, marking their first debut on the pop side.

Well, the duo said that they first heard the title cut after they already finished their debut album. They loved the song enough to hold on to it for two more years. They said that the song summed up how they felt about their music, incorporating rock and hip hop elements into their songs, and that “anything goes” meant no rules and that’s how they felt.

Co-written by Felix McTeigue, Chris Tompkins, and Craig Wiseman, the song helped expressed their tour, as well, that it was time to have a good time with no holds barred!

Here’s this week’s The Song Remembers When – Florida Georgia Line and “Anything Goes.”
