Throughout the week, our ACC Team searches through emails and news articles looking for someone who deserves to be the Kidde Hero of the Week…

We are hearing a lot of stories from people jumping into action to help those that were in the path of Hurricane Michael.

In North Carolina, a security camera captured several people running out of their shop to save a man in his truck that was being swept away by flood waters.

Jennifer Fowler, who is a manager of a tattoo shop, saw this truck across the street from the parking lot of her store. Fowler, who is a Navy veteran, quickly raced outside and jumped into action. She pulled the man out of his truck as the rushing water started to pull the truck under a bridge. With the help of several of her employees, they formed a human chain to help get the man to safety.

When asked about doing what she did, she simply answered, “It was up to me or he was going to drown.”

Kix’s Response:

Man, again, so many stories like this are starting to surface. And, we are sending out prayers to everybody who has been affected by this disaster in that area and also down on the Florida coast.

So, to Jennifer Fowler out of North Carolina, you are our Kidde Hero!
