Throughout the week, our ACC Team searches through emails and news articles looking for someone who deserves to be the Kidde Hero of the Week…

Recently, we came across this CNN story about military veteran Chris Stout.

Chris Stout suffered from PTSD and was having a hard time adjusting back here in the States after serving his country in Afghanistan. And, he realized that he felt best among other veterans and quickly found out that many of our vets were struggling as well.

That experience inspired him to form the Veterans Community Project.  It’s an organization that will help any person who raised their hand to defend our country. They do it all – from providing homeless vets with homes to free bus passes. Chris says that it’s just his way of doing what he can for all that have served.

Kix’s Response:

Well, Chris Stout – I appreciate what you’re doing, pal! And, you are this week’s Kidde Hero!
