This week’s story is from Sherrie in Pennsylvania who writes…
Hey Kix,
I met my husband when I was 13 years old. He didn't know it at the time but I really liked him! And, he never let on that he liked me either… But then, a year or so later, I was at a friend’s house and he happened to be there, too. He happened to whistle at me – I guess to let me know that he was interested, too. And before you know it…we got to talking and I somehow found the courage to ask him if he’d like to start dating. And, he said yes!
However, despite us starting to date…I had to wait ever so patiently for him to finally kiss me! On our first date, we were both so shy and I had to leave, so it didn’t happen. I was left to wonder – for what seemed like forever – if he was EVER gonna kiss me or not?! But, we started hanging out and spending ALL of our time together and he finally kissed me and we fell hopelessly in love!
After dating for 4 years, I married that man and we are now going to be celebrating our 24th anniversary in July! I can honestly say we are as happy and in love now — maybe even more – than we ever were. Thompson Square's “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not?” reminds me so much of that day I was dying for him to kiss me…love that song!

So, there you have it! I think it’s happened to all of us at one time or another… You don’t want to screw it up, but what the heck? If they don’t want to, they’ll probably let you know. It’s just a kiss – or you never know, might be something else like love!
