This week’s Hero nomination is a little unique: It’s about Kix's good friend Wade Hayes who survived Stage Four cancer, not once, but TWICE!
Wade recently stopped by the studio for a visit, and we think, after you hear his story, you’ll agree that he definitely deserves to be our Kidde Hero of the Week!

Wade and Genentech are partnering to help raise awareness and money for people with advanced colorectal cancer through the Go Live Your Life campaign. Genentech is donating $1 (at least $25,000/up to $50,000 in the form of a grant) for every download of Wade's “Go Live Your Life” single on iTunes. The grant will support the Colon Cancer Alliance Blue Note Fund, a non-profit that supports people with advanced colorectal cancer. For more information, check out GoLiveYourLife.com.
