This week’s Hero nomination comes from our social media princess Nikita who discovered this story online:
It’s about a young man named Reece… just a normal 13 year-old teenager from Louisville, Kentucky, but “normal” changed in 2012 when he was diagnosed with Leukemia.
But, get this… Instead of using offers from Make-A-Wish Foundation for himself, Reece wanted to help others. He made a list of things he wanted to do for children battling cancer, including improving hospital rooms, funding cancer research and granting more wishes! His ultimate wish? Raise $1 million.
You can help Reece with his cause, too. Learn more about donating reecemakesawish.org.
By the way, Reece is doing well and should be done with treatments this November.
