Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not? – Krista and Ryan’s Story

This is where YOU tell us YOUR love stories! You know, like how you met your honey… how you found true love after all this time… or maybe even how you finally got back together with the one that got away. You get the idea – whatever your “happily ever after” is, we wanna hear it!!!

This week’s story comes to us from Krista who writes…

Dear Kix,

My love story with Ryan is like it was pulled from the pages out of a book… We went to elementary school together but before junior high, he and his family moved away. I wouldn’t see Ryan again until I was a senior in high school. I was invited to his house through a mutual friend to play poker. We had an awesome night, and I liked him a lot. He made me laugh, was independent and responsible, had his own place, and a great job, and was so sweet. I wondered how he was single!? Unfortunately, I had a boyfriend at the time, so it just wasn’t to be… Or so we thought.

I didn’t see him again for another five years until I ran into the same mutual friend, and, like it was a sign from God, he told me that it was Ryan’s birthday and invited me to the bar where they were celebrating. When I arrived and saw him, the same sparks flew, and this time, I was single! We had a great evening, and at some point that night, I fell in love.

Now, we’ve been together for seven years and are expecting a baby in February. He truly is my soul-mate. He says that he has been in love with me since first grade… He is the most amazing, loving, and caring man I could ever ask for and I am the luckiest woman in the world! Because of him, I believe that true love and soul-mates really do exist.

Sincerely,

Krista

Kix’s Response:

Ain’t love strange? Just won’t leave alone when it’s real… Good luck to you two, Krista!
