Hi Kix,
I met my husband, James, in 2012 like Cinderella. I was working late one night at Starbucks when I got three cups stuck together. I walked up to James and his friend and ask if they could get the cups unstuck for me. With a little man-muscle they did, and to show my appreciation, I gave them free drink coupons.
A few hours later, James came up to the bar and asked me if I was seeing somebody, and I replied no. Then, he told me that he usually doesn’t do this, but he asked me on a date. I quickly said no, but I told him I would give him my number instead.
Every day after that, for three months straight, he would ask me out and I would reply no. After the third month, I finally told him yes. Two days after our date we were totally together.
Then, in 2013, at Disney World, in front of the castle, he proposed. And, the next year, we said “I Do!” Now, we are happily married and raising our beautiful miracle baby girl. I am so blessed to have him in my life. I couldn’t have asked for a more awesome man, husband, and father for our daughter. He makes me feel like Cinderella every day. I love him so much.
