Kix TV: Frankie Ballard

When it came time to record his third album, Frankie Ballard decided to get the heck out of Dodge (or, in his case, Nashville). So, Frankie packed up and headed west to El Paso where he dedicated himself to creating El Rio with the help of producer Marshall Altman.

Prior to the album’s release, Frankie caught up with Kix in studio where they discussed the thought process behind the approach to El Rio. Plus, Frankie and Kix talk about their shared love for ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.
