Throughout the week, our ACC Team searches through emails and news articles looking for someone who deserves to be the Kidde Hero of the Week…

Lindsey Murphy out of Modesto, California, wrote in to nominate her fiancé, Nathan Barlow.  Lindsey wrote that he’s an amazing man who is also a veteran, having served six years in the army.
Nathan did two tours overseas in the Middle East, but it was what he also did state side as a civilian that shows what a great guy he is.

Driving home from work one day he witnessed a car crash. And, he stopped and helped the driver who was badly injured. The EMTs told him he possibly saved that man’s life. We don’t know what would happened, but I do know that Nathan did give that man a chance.

He has such a big heart. And, he may not want to be seen as a hero, but to me and everyone he has helped, he is. Plus, I get to marry my hero this September!

Thanks, Kix!

Signed,
Lindsey

Kix’s Response:

Well, Lindsey, it sounds like you found yourself a great guy! How fortunate he was at that crash site, not only willing to help, but he knew HOW to help!

Thank you, Nathan, for your service. And, congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
