Keith Urban spent six weeks at number one back in 2002 with a song called “Somebody Like You.” It was also his first gold single.
Now, Keith co-wrote the song with John Shanks, who was writing for artists like Melissa Etheridge and Bonnie Raitt. The song was written long before Keith was married… At the time, he was dating model Niki Taylor, who also was featured in the music video.
