Throughout the week, our ACC Team searches through emails and news articles looking for someone who deserves to be the Kidde Hero of the Week…

This week, Ryan Poole wrote in to nominate his late grandfather Henry for Hero of the Week. He shares:

Henry was enlisted in the Army and served in World War II. Ryan says that his grandfather was a hero in every sense of the word. He was so proud of his service and his dream was to see his grandson serve as well.

Ryan says that he kept putting it off because he didn’t think he wanted to follow that path. But, today, he finds himself thinking of his grandfather as he is now enlisting in the U.S. National Guard.  He knows his grandfather would be proud.

Big Kenny’s Response:

Ryan, thank you for writing in. Your grandfather Henry sounds like a great man! I’m sure he is proud of you, man, and the man you’re becoming! Thank you for your service!

This week’s Kidde Heroes are Henry and Ryan Poole.
