Throughout the week, our ACC Team searches through emails and news articles looking for someone who deserves to be the Kidde Hero of the Week…
Rick Wrightson wrote in saying that he liked our Hero of the Week, and he’d like to nominate the organization called Homes for our Troops.
Rick writes,
“This organization builds specially designed homes for disabled vets, and it provides them with that home, mortgage-free. I was so impressed with the organization that I actually hosted a fundraiser! Homes for our Troops is a real hero to me!

Well, thanks so much, Rick! And, you probably know that I’m part of a group called Operation FINALLY HOME – it does the same thing. There’s a lot of folks out there helping our veterans, and, as far as I’m concerned, we can’t do enough! Thanks for writing in.
