Life is pretty good for ole Blake Shelton. He was just named People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive,” a title which Blake has been having a lot of fun with (just take a look at his recent tweets). Blake also released his 11th studio album Texoma Shore this month. The project finds the Oklahoma native paying tribute to his roots and moving forward from some of the “dark tones” found on his previous record. The lead single “I’ll Name the Dogs” marks Blake’s 29th Top 10 hit. And, it could very well end up being his 25th Billboard Country Airplay number one.
Kix caught up with Blake recently and the pair commiserate about the one thing they don’t enjoy about their jobs. Plus, they discuss country living and the unique pets that can accompany that lifestyle, and, of course, naming dogs.
