In 2013, Carrie Underwood released “Two Black Cadillacs” off her album Blown Away. Now, this song really shows Carrie’s flair for the dramatic. She co-wrote it with her frequent cowriters Hillary Lindsay and Josh Kear.
Carrie said that they didn’t really know where the song was going or where it would end up, but it ended up with a murder, after two women find out the man they’re involved with is lying to both of them. Carrie said that she’s a happy person who loves her life, but it was fun to step into a character and play something completely opposite of who she is.
