This week, we’d like to pay tribute to a country duo that went above and beyond to help others during such a troubled year.
Dan + Shay recently teamed up with Safe Haven Family Shelter in Middle Tennessee. The guys were able to be a part of the experience of providing homeless families with a place of their own. In fact, they presented three families with their own homes.
Safe Haven Family Shelter focuses on folks who have fallen on tough times and offers them shelter, food, and many other things that we all take for granted. Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney were so moved by their experience that they shared the story hoping to remind us of how lucky so many are and maybe get more people involved in helping those less fortunate.

Now, we want to know who has made a difference in your life. Nominate a local firefighter, police officer, EMT or someone who is serving our country in the military. It could even be a neighbor, family member or friend who lent a crucial helping hand.
