Gabby Barrett Leads Country Finalists for 2021 Billboard Music Awards

Gabby Barrett leads the list of female artist finalists for this year’s Billboard Music Awards. In addition to her recognition in four country-specific categories, Gabby earned additional acknowledgment in five others including the all-genre Top New Artist category. The remix version of “I Hope” featuring Charlie Puth is up for Top Collaboration, Top Selling Song, Top Hot 100 Song, and Top Radio Song.

On the strength of her My Gift album, Carrie Underwood is a finalist in the Top Christian Artist and Top Christian Album categories. Other artists earning some appreciation in categories outside the country genre include Dolly Parton (Top Christian Song for “There Was Jesus” with Zach Williams) and Morgan Wallen (Top Song Sales Artist). Check out the full finalist list for the country categories below.

The 2021 Billboard Music Awards will air live on Sunday, May 23, at 8/7c on NBC. For more, including finalist lists in other genres, visit Billboard.com.
