Nominations Revealed for the 2022 CMT Music Awards

Kane Brown leads the pack in this year’s edition of CMT Music Awards nominations. “One Mississippi,” his most recent chart-topping hit, secured Kane two nods for Video and Male Video of the Year. Additionally, Kane received two nominations both in the CMT Performance of the Year category for his cover of “Three Wooden Crosses” from the 2021 CMT Artist of the Year special and his appearance on CMT Crossroads: Nelly & Friends where he joined Blanco Brown and Breland for a performance of “Ride Wit Me” with Nelly.

A group of four artists tied for the second-most nominations as Kelsea Ballerini, Mickey Guyton, Breland, and Cody Johnson all collected three. Two of those artists – Breland and Cody Johnson – are first-time nominees.

The 2022 CMT Music Awards, hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and actor Anthony Mackie, will broadcast LIVE from Nashville at 8/7c Monday, April 11, on CBS. And, remember, the CMT Music Awards are fan-voted. Visit vote.cmt.com to select your choice in each category. Full nominations are listed below.
