Performers for the 2022 CMT Music Awards have been announced. Leading nominee Kane Brown will take the stage as well as host Kelsea Ballerini. Wynonna and Naomi Judd reunite for their first televised award show performance in over 20 years. Kacey Musgraves will make a special appearance introducing The Judds‘ performance of “Love Can Build A Bridge” and highlighting the duo’s impact on country music. Plus, Kacey will introduce their performance of “Love Can Build A Bridge.” Look for star-studded collaborations from Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd, Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson, Mickey Guyton and Black Pumas, Jason Aldean and Bryan Adams, Jimmie Allen with Monica and Little Big Town, and Thomas Rhett and Riley Green. The CMT Music Awards will also highlight six newcomers to the genre on the Ram Truck Side Stage. The slate of performers and presenters is listed below.
Voting for Video of the Year is on-going at vote.cmt.com. A full list of nominations can be found here. The 2022 CMT Music Awards will be broadcast on CBS for the first-time in its existence. The three-hour show will air LIVE from Nashville on Monday, April 11, beginning at 8/7c.
