In 2019, Jason Aldean released his album 9, and the first single from the album was “We Back.” It was written by Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, Jordan Schmidt, and The Warren Brothers – Brad and Brett.
Now, Tyler knew Jason was recording a new album, so he asked if there was anything he needed. Jason replied, “Yeah, I need an anthem song, something we could sing in an arena or a stadium.” So, Tyler went to his writing appointment with that in mind. The result was “We Back.”
Jason had the song in his hands the very next day after it was written, and he thought it was great that his buddies could custom write something for him, something that was tailormade.
“We Back” was released to radio, and, after 24 weeks on the chart, it would peak inside the Top 10.
