We received an email from Crystal Gangloff nominating her friend Angel Cox, from Lafayette, Indiana, as Hero of the Week. She writes:
Dear Kix,
Angel is a great mother of two children and wife to her husband. She is a special education teacher who goes above and beyond for her students. She also finds time to work with charities. And, in addition to her regular teaching job, Angel also teaches Sunday school at her church.
There is so much that Angel does for so many. I hope you can make her your ACC Hero of the Week to let her know that her work is appreciated.

Crystal, thank you for writing in! I am happy to recognize anyone who has made teaching their career and spends the time to nurture our kids. It is, hands down, one of the most important jobs in this country. And, with a name like Angel, how could I refuse?!
