In the summer of 2014, Blake Shelton released the first single from his album Bringing Back The Sunshine. “Neon Light” was something Blake felt country radio wanted at the time. But, he felt like it was also very reminiscent of the type of songs he recorded early in his career with his first producer Bobby Braddock.
The lyrics told the story of finding a light at the end of a tunnel as he tried to forget a bad relationship. By that fall, it became Blake’s 13th consecutive number one.
