Cody Johnson Leads 2022 American Music Awards Country Nominees

Cody Johnson is the leading country nominee at the 2022 American Music Awards. The Texas native scored nods in the Favorite Male Country Artist, Favorite Country Album (Human: The Double Album), and Favorite Country Song (“’Til You Can’t”) categories. Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Walker Hayes, Carrie Underwood, and Morgan Wallen all earned two nominations. Check out the full list of country nominations below. Fan voting is now closed.

Look for Carrie to take the stage for a performance of “Crazy Angels,” one of the tracks from her nominated album Denim & Rhinestones. Dan + Shay, Dustin Lynch, and Jimmie Allen will serve as presenters during the show.

The 2022 American Music Awards will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, November 20, at 8/7c on ABC.
