2022 American Music Awards – Country Winners

Morgan Wallen was the big winner in the country categories at the 2022 American Music Awards. He was named Favorite Male Country Artist at the fan-voted awards show. Plus, “Wasted On You” earned honors as Favorite Country Song. Most of the awards for the country genre were announced prior to the show. The exception to that was Favorite Country Duo or Group. Dan + Shay collected their fourth consecutive win in that category.

AMA Favorite Female Country Artist nominee Carrie Underwood thrilled the audience with an aerobatic performance of her latest single “Hate My Heart.” Dan + Shay, Jimmie Allen, Dustin Lynch, and MacKenzie Porter were on hand as presenters.

The show was held on Sunday, November 20th, live from Los Angeles, California. Winners in each of the country categories are listed below in bold.
