The people have spoken, and the winners are in for the 2024 People’s Choice Awards. In the world of country, fans selected Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll to receive their first trophies in the categories of The Female Country Artist and The Male Country Artist respectively. At the show, Lainey performed a medley of her hits “Things A Man Oughta Know,” “Heart Like a Truck,” “Watermelon Moonshine,” plus her just-released song “Country’s Cool Again.” And, Kane Brown was on hand to present The New Artist to rapper Ice Spice.
The 2024 People’s Choice Awards, hosted by actor Simu Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) is now available to stream via Peacock.
