Justin Moore is married with four kids, and he’ll be the first to admit that finding time for just him and his wife Kate is a challenge, but it’s something he makes a concerted effort to do. So, when Justin heard the song “You, Me, & Whiskey,” he related to the story line.
At an in-the-round songwriter show in Chattanooga, Justin shared the stage with Priscilla Block. He felt like she stole the show with her talent, so when he heard “You, Me, & Whiskey,” Justin immediately thought of Priscilla.
As for her, the singer-songwriter said that deciding to record this song with Justin was a no brainer – she was all in. The two recorded their parts separately with Justin’s band.
In October 2022, Justin’s record label released “You, Me, & Whiskey” to radio. By the following summer, the song peaked inside the Top Five, giving Priscilla her first big hit at radio.
