Morgan Wallen Earns Seven Nominations for the 58th Annual CMA Awards

After claiming the top song of the summer for the second year in a row, the good news keeps rolling for Morgan Wallen. The Tennessee native is the top nominee at the 58th Annual CMA Awards with seven nominations. He returns to the Entertainer and Male Vocalist categories for the third consecutive year. And, “I Had Some Help,” this summer’s top tune, garnered Morgan and collaborator Post Malone nods in the Single, Song, Musical Event, and Music Video categories.

With five nominations each, Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton join Morgan as top nominees. Of note, Cody’s hits “The Painter” and “Dirt Cheap” both earned nominations for Song and Music Video of the Year. Meanwhile, Post Malone’s foray into country music has proved to be a successful one. Not only have his songs been burning up the chart, but he also received some love from CMA voters with four nominations. Reigning Entertainer of the Year and two-time Female Vocalist Lainey Wilson has a chance to repeat in those categories. Also, among her four nominations are ones for Single (“Watermelon Moonshine”) and Music Video of the Year (“Wildflowers and Wild Horses”).

Check out the full nominations list below. Don’t miss when the winners’ names are called as the 58th Annual CMA Awards broadcast LIVE Wednesday, November 20, at 8/7c on ABC!
