Jason Aldean Raises More Than $700,000 for Hometown Hospital

Macon, Ga., native Jason Aldean returned to his hometown on Aug. 11 to headline his second annual Concert for the Kids.

Jason, with the help of opener Luke Combs, treated the sold-out crowd to a night of music and helped raise $702,209 for the development of Macon’s new Children’s Hospital. Combined with last year’s effort, Jason has now raised more than $1.2 million for the construction of the region’s only dedicated pediatric hospital.

After spending the day with patients and families at the current facility, Jason was honored by having a a street at the Children’s Hospital renamed Jason Aldean Way.

“Macon will always be my roots,” said Jason. “When I moved away to chase music, all I wanted to do was make my family and hometown proud. But, I’m just a singer. I’m honored to be able to do do what I do to help raise money, but the doctors and staff are the heroes and are changing these kids lives.”
